Job Description
Company Description
Lastmil is an AI-driven last-mile logistics delivery management platform designed to help businesses streamline their operations effectively. By integrating planning, dispatching, optimization, and delivery tracking into one system, Lastmil provides full visibility and operational confidence to delivery teams. Catering to both small-scale and large-scale operations, Lastmil supports businesses delivering from as few as 50 orders to as many as 50,000. Tailored for modern businesses and e-commerce enterprises, Lastmil is available across the GCC and committed to transforming logistics management.
About the role:
As a UI/UX Designer at Lastmil, you will shape the user experience of a mission-critical SaaS product used by dispatchers, operations teams, and delivery managers. This is not a surface-level design role. You will define how users plan routes, dispatch fleets, track deliveries in real time, and manage high-volume delivery operations with clarity and speed.
You will work closely with the Founder, Engineering Lead, and Frontend Engineers to design workflows that are fast, intuitive, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone who wants ownership, impact, and startup-level responsibility, not just visual polish.
What You’ll Do
Design core product workflows for dispatch orchestration, route planning, delivery tracking, and task management
Create intuitive, high-performance UI for real-time dashboards and operations screens
Translate complex logistics workflows into simple, usable interfaces
Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI
Build and maintain a design system for consistent SaaS UX
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design feasibility and quality execution
Iterate designs based on real user feedback from early customers
Design onboarding, empty states, error states, and usage visibility flows
Contribute to product strategy and feature prioritization discussions
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in UI/UX or product design
Strong portfolio demonstrating SaaS, dashboard, or workflow-based product design
Experience designing complex interfaces, not just marketing websites
Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design
Experience with tools like Figma or similar
Ability to work in an early-stage startup environment
Comfortable taking ownership and working with minimal supervision
Strong product thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and founders
Nice-to-Have
Experience designing logistics, fleet, or operations platforms
Experience with real-time or data-heavy dashboards
Experience with design systems
Prior startup or founding-team experience
Why Join Lastmil
Build a product from zero, not just features
Work on meaningful UX problems in dispatch, routing, and real-time systems
Real ownership and impact on the product experience
Remote-first culture with flexible working hours
Competitive compensation with equity upside for the right candidate
Opportunity to grow into a lead design role as the company scales
Work directly with the founder and engineering leadership
How to Apply
If you enjoy designing SaaS products, solving real workflow problems, and working in an early-stage startup environment, we’d like to hear from you.
