Job Description

The Utility Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of utility systems, including the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Sewage Treatment Plant (SWTP), and Utility House facilities. This role involves monitoring performance, maintaining compliance with KERRY and DOE standards, and supporting statutory inspections and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to: Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

Work Location: Pasir Gudang.

Key responsibilities

WWTP & SWTP Operations

  • Monitor and analyze WWTP performance reports to ensure compliance with KERRY and DOE standards.
  • Oversee SWTP operations, discharge, and capacity; promptly report any changes to the Superior and QSHE department.
  • Ensure all alterations to WWTP and SWTP systems comply with DOE and DOSH regulations.
