The Role
We are seeking an experienced Utilities Lead to join our engineering back-office team and support the delivery of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in utility systems planning and design, along with proven leadership experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering deliverables across large-scale infrastructure programs. This role requires the ability to manage interfaces between multiple utility disciplines and ensure high-quality integrated infrastructure outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience in utilities design and infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in utility networks including water, wastewater, power, ICT, drainage, and other urban infrastructure systems.
- Proven consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment experience.
- Strong understanding of utilities integration, design standards, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and coordination tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil3D, BIM platforms, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
- Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the utilities discipline and contribute to all utilities engineering deliverables across project stages.
- Ensure integrated planning and coordination of all utility systems within infrastructure developments.
- Oversee design development, technical documentation, specifications, and reporting.
- Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination between structural, transport, hydrology, and ICT disciplines.
- Support technical problem-solving and resolution of utility interface challenges.
- Participate in design reviews, quality assurance processes, and internal coordination meetings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to utility engineers and CAD/BIM teams.
