Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Utility Field Specialists to join the Water Distribution Division. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing various components of the city's water system, including pipes, hydrants, valves, and meters. The position operates on a 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shift, with occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities
+ Fix water line breaks and leaks.
+ Install and repair fire hydrants, water meters, valves, water service lines, and main lines.
+ Utilize tools such as shovels, wrenches, saws, jackhammers, and pumps.
+ Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, excavators, and crane trucks.
+ Read maps and diagrams to locate underground pipes.
+ Follow safety procedures and work around hazards.

+ Maintenance and repair skills.
