Utility Maintenance Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Positive work attitude, implementing change processes and set high standards in daily work.
  • To look after 3 shifts Production break down activities.
  • Preventive maintenance planning of utilities.
  • Monitoring machine health based on MTBF and predictive maintenance.
  • Analyzing machine interruptions in scientific way
  • Maintaining & ensuring availability of machine spare parts & advance planning for critical spares.
  • Warehouse management & Inventory management.
  • Ensuring & supporting production team in productivity improvement measures.
  • Participate in specific excellence drive like FFQ/ MOVE/ TPM and other programs as defined by the organization time to time.
  • Maintain 5S, safety and environment to benchmarking standard.
  • Managing contractors & monitoring their activities.
  • Follow work instructions / checklists and other required documentation at all stages

    • Desired Candidate Profile

  • E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with 6-12 years in the field of maintenance.
  • Preferably in engineering industry & exposure to handle utilities and central facility like ETP, STP, DM plant, Cooling tower, HVAC, AC, Central media supply, compressor, dryer, fire hydrant system, fire safety system.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, AutoCAD, SAP – Good manpower management skills.
  • Maintain Safety standards and Environment standards at work.
  • Exposure to work with CNC machines maintenance will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Grinding oil and water based coolant and washing media.
