Utility Worker

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or General education degree (GED)
• Possess a valid driver's license—State of New Mexico
• Digital literacy (i.e. Microsoft office, phones, tablets, computers)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in the operation and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, machinery, pumps, and equipment used within the water and wastewater systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in the maintenance of vehicles, structures, and buildings.
• General maintenance work; safe work practices, and basic biological and chemical principles
• Ability to obtain the collections or wastewater level I certification within 2-years
