Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a V2X Systems Engineer to join high-impact a high‑impact engineering team advancing next‑generation transportation technologies. This role is located in McLean, VAthrough 100% full onsite presence. The V2X Systems Engineer will lead simulation, testing & evaluation of connected vehicle technologies, develop system requirements & test plans, and support the integration of hardware & software-in-the-loop environments that advance transportation research & real-world deployments.

Responsibilities of the V2X Systems Engineer include:

  • Lead simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and field testing of V2X, CAV, & connected infrastructure systems, including planning, execution, & analysis
  • Define system requirements, performance metrics, & test procedures while managing schedules, resources, & risk for multi-phase test campaigns
