Responsibilities
- Overall Mirror coating workshop production management, both for Engineering and Production
- Mirror coating machine process setting for processing of plastics such as PC/PI and PA, to ensure production as per quality and quantity requirements
- Develops and set up tinting parameters for machines and auxiliary equipment
- Create tool set-up parameters sheet and operation instructions
- Initiate improvement programs and overall productivity including process consistency and efficiency, product quality, production flexibility, lead time and operating costs, using tools like Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc.
- Assigns and trains operators on procedure and work instructions
- To ensure that the tooling repair/ modification schedule are as per plan
- Discuss with suppliers for changes or modifications in the accessories
- Performs trial run and compiling data concerning product or process
