Job Title: Hardware Validation Engineer

Location: Markham, ON (At least 3 days in the office, flexibility for 1-2 days remotely depending on business needs)

Duration: 12 months

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Hardware Validation Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of Client's products, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve Client's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.

The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for Client's silicon/ASIC designs, resulting in no bugs in the final product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Driving technical innovation to improve Client's capabilities across product development and validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional initiatives.
  • End-to-end IP ownership of developing, documenting, and executing on verification test plans.
  • Debug issues found during verification cycle starting SOC bring-up to on-shelf date.
  • Working with multiple teams and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time.
  • Working closely with different supporting technical teams (SW and HW).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, optimization, and debug methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies.
  • Extensive experience with ASIC/ system debug techniques and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
