Validation Specialist

Virya Electric Powertrains, part of the Maini Group, is looking for a seasoned Head – Validation & Homologation to lead vehicle and component validation, testing, and regulatory compliance for conventional and electric vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive end-to-end vehicle & component validation strategy (mechanical, electrical, powertrain).
• Lead DVP&R planning, execution, issue resolution, and validation sign-offs.
• Head all homologation and type approval activities ensuring compliance with CMVR, AIS, BIS, UNECE standards.
• Liaise with certification agencies such as ARAI, ICAT, CIRT, VRDE, etc.
• Oversee CoP, re-certifications, and regulatory change management.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer teams from concept to SOP.
• Build strong processes, governance, KPIs, and mentor validation teams.
