<p>Job Title: Manager Legal.<br/><br/> Location: Mumbai / Bangalore.<br/><br/> Role: Manager Legal.<br/><br/> Job Summary:<br/><br/>- The role is a legal position involving corporate legal advisory (60%) and litigation management (40%).<br/><br/>- The incumbent will support the business on day-to-day corporate legal matters while independently managing litigation, court matters, and coordination with external counsels, law enforcement agencies, and internal stakeholders.<br/><br/> Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including but not limited to:.<br/><br/>- Vendor agreements, Service agreements, NDA's, MOUs, Partnership and channel agreements.<br/><br/>- Providing legal advisory to business teams on operational, regulatory, and contractual matters.<br/><br/>- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and risk mitigation frameworks.<br/><br/>- Supporting internal stakeholders with legal opinions, contract interpretations, and issue resolution.<br/><br/>- Coordinating with internal teams (Finance, HR, Compliance, Operations) on legal matters.<br/><br/>- Maintaining contract repositories and legal documentation.<br/><br/>- Handling and managing civil, criminal, consumer, and commercial litigation matters.<br/><br/>- Experience in dealing with Court notices, summons, and orders, Police notices, complaints, FIRs, and investigations.<br/><br/>- Coordinating with external advocates, law firms, and counsels for filings, hearings, and case strategy.<br/><br/>- Preparing case briefs, responses, affidavits, and supporting documentation.<br/><br/>- Tracking litigation timelines, court dates, and ensuring timely compliance with court directions.<br/><br/>- Acting as the primary point of contact for law enforcement authorities when required.<br/><br/>- Maintaining litigation trackers, MIS reports, and status updates for management.<br/><br/> Qualifications & Experience:<br/><br/> Education: </p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B).<br/><br/>- A Master's degree or specialisation in Technology, IP, or Financial Laws is a plus.<br/><br/>- Enrollment with State Bar Council is preferred.<br/><br/> Experience:<br/><br/>- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in digital marketing, fintech, or a related field.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in handling data privacy, advertising standards, and financial regulations.<br/><br/> Skills:<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of Indian laws, especially contract law, civil & criminal procedure.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in litigation handling and court process management.<br/><br/>- Ability to independently manage police interactions and sensitive legal matters.<br/><br/>- Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal interpretation skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.<br/><br/>- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Ability to balance corporate advisory work with litigation demands.<br/><br/> Benefits:<br/><br/>- Competitive salary and benefits.<br/><br/>- Opportunity to work with a dynamic team at the forefront of digital innovation and financial technology.<br/><br/>- Career growth and learning opportunities in a rapidly evolving industry.</p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
