Value Stream Planner
The Value Stream Planner is a member of a Value Stream Manufacturing team. This position is responsible for collaboratively working with others to plan and execute manufacturing programs and build plans. Assisting with order placement and follow-up for purchased products, the Value Stream Planner will reinforce the work order scheduling policy, ensuring on-time, conforming product delivery.
Functions and Responsibilities
• Execution of daily production control tasks as assigned (including ship reports and input material releases).
• Analyze sales orders within the planning lead time, ensuring material is available to fulfill scheduled orders.
• Support the value stream as required by planning manufacturing build plans.
• Help with troubleshooting and dealing with exceptions to product flow.
