Vascular Ultrasound Technologist - Charlotte, North Carolina

This opportunity is for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist specializing in vascular and general ultrasound imaging within a fast-paced emergency department setting. The position is based in Charlotte, NC, at a modern, free-standing 12-bed emergency facility that provides 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services. You will be working primarily on a night shift schedule (7 PM to 7 AM) from Tuesday to Thursday, with weekend rotation and call coverage supporting two nearby emergency sites.

Responsibilities include performing general ultrasound imaging exams on ED patients, with additional duties such as obtaining vital signs, assisting with patient transportation, and providing sitter support when needed. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and utilize advanced imaging technology, including Siemens Sequoia ultrasound machines and EPIC electronic medical records.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-S) required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum two years experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in emergency department or acute care settings
• Comfortable performing general ultrasound vascular studies
• Willingness to assist with basic patient care and ancillary duties as outlined
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in required call rotations
