Vehicle Damage Assessor - Aylesbury

Pertemps Aylesbury are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor for our Automotive client.

Hours: 40 hours a week & 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12 

Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 Duties: 

  • Inspection & Damage Assessment: Methodically inspect vehicles to identify and record all damage to bodywork, mechanical, and electrical systems, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
  • Estimating & Costing: Use estimating software to calculate labour, parts (OEM, recycled, aftermarket), and materials, creating detailed repair specifications and ensuring profitability.
  • Repair Viability: Assess the vehicle's pre-repair value and decide whether to repair, write off (total loss), or settle the claim.
