Roles
  • Vehicle Architects

    Your Tasks:

    • Define the overall vehicle architecture, including system layout, packaging, and integration strategy.
    • Ensure alignment between vehicle domains (powertrain, body, etc) within the vehicle platform.

    Knowledge:

    • Vehicle and components architecture of heavy duty vehicles
    • Integration of vehicle domains in heavy duty vehicles

    Tools:

    • Requirements Management: Polarion, Doors or similar
    • Development of vehicles architectures: Enterprise Architect, Preevision or similar
  • Vehicle Engineers

    Your Tasks:

    • Define vehicle domains architecture, requirements and supplier Coordination working with suppliers to ensure that components meet the required specifications and quality standards.
    • Ensure alignment between mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems within the vehicle domain.
    • Perform vehicle testing and validation to ensure proper vehicle behaviour

    Knowledge:

    • Vehicle and components architecture of heavy duty vehicles
    • Integration of High Voltage, Pneumatic and Hydraulic components in heavy duty vehicles

    Tools:

    • Requirements Management: Polarion, Doors or similar
    • System Modelling: Enterprise Architect, IBM System Design Rhapsody or similar
    • Testing tools (ETAS INCA, Vector CANoe and CANalyzer)
  • Vehicle Electrical Engineers

    Your Tasks:

    • Design and document high- and low-voltage electrical and control systems.
    • Create wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness layouts for vehicle electrical systems.
    • Select and specify electrical components (contactors, relays, connectors, fuses, sensors, etc.).
    • Conduct and support integration and validation testing at both lab and vehicle level.

    Knowledge:

    • HV/LV systems (12V, 24V, 400–800V).
    • Vehicle electrical architectures and power distribution systems.
    • Harness design using electrical CAD tools.
    • Electrical safety, isolation, grounding, and EMC.

    Tools:

    • EPLAN, CATIA Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or Capital Harness Systems (CHS).
    • MATLAB / Simulink (for modelling or analysis of electrical/energy systems).
    • CANalyzer, CANoe, or similar CAN network analysis tools.
  • Vehicle Fluids Engineers

    Your Tasks:

    • Design and validate fluid systems as thermal management systems, cooling circuits, pneumatic circuits, hydraulic circuits between others.
    • Perform system simulations and performance calculations (pressure drop, flow rate, heat transfer).
    • Select components (valves, fittings, hoses, accumulators, pumps, compressors, sensors, etc.) and define technical specifications.
    • Prepare schematics, 3D layouts, and bill of materials (BOMs).

    Knowledge:

    • Thermal systems design and heat transfer fundamentals.
    • Fluid dynamics and circuit sizing (pressure, flow, temperature).
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic components and architectures.

    Tools:

    • Thermal systems design and heat transfer fundamentals.
    • Fluid dynamics and circuit sizing (pressure, flow, temperature).
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic components and architectures.
  • Vehicle Mechanical Engineers

    Your Tasks:

    • Design technical and conceptual 3D CAD solutions and detailed drawings using SOLIDWORKS.
    • Perform kinematic CAD simulations for mechanical systems.
    • Contribute to the interior and exterior vehicle design process.

    Knowledge:

    • Advanced 3D CAD modeling and detailed drawing creation using SolidWorks, with a focus on automotive components and assemblies.
    • Kinematic and structural simulation skills, including basic FEA and motion analysis for mechanical systems.
    • Understanding of vehicle packaging and integration, ensuring compatibility with electrical and fluid systems.
    • Knowledge of automotive standards and design for manufacturability, including material selection and tolerance analysis.

    • Product design: Solidworks, Catia or similar

  • Studies
    • Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronic/Electrical engineer or similar
    • Master's degree in automotive/vehicle or similar
  • Experience
