Vehicle Mechanical Engineer (M.S./Ph.D.)

Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Vehicle Mechanical Engineer with a fundamental interest and knowledge base in the automotive field for our Practice and Test Engineering Center in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will work as part of an an accident reconstruction and testing team supporting technical analyses of transportation accidents, mechanical failure evaluations, and assessments of vehicle safety systems including restraints and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). Field activities include documenting the accident site and vehicles through a variety of techniques including photogrammetry, 3D scanning, and drone technology, and the preservation of collision data from vehicle electronic modules. You should be hands-on with the ability to support fieldwork and testing, have excellent communication skills, and be motivated to advance professionally and ultimately develop and grow their consulting practice within Exponent.
