is looking for a D365 F&O Finance and Project Management & Accounting Functional Consultant to join our team.<br/><br/><b>Job Title:</b> D365 F&O Finance and Project Management & Accounting Functional Consultant.<br/><br/><b>Location:</b> Hyderabad.<br/><br/><b>Experience:</b> 5 to 7 Years.<br/><br/>HYBRID MODE.<br/><br/><b>Job Description:</b><br/><br/>The Finance and Project Management and Accounting Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimising Finance, Project Management, and Accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.<br/><br/>The role requires strong functional knowledge, hands on project experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable financial and project management solutions for Velosios clients.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/>- Gather and analyse business requirements related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, Project Accounting, and Budgeting.<br/><br/>- Design and configure D365 FO modules including General Ledger, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Management and Accounting, and Cost Accounting.<br/><br/>- Lead workshops, requirement discussions, gap fit analysis, and solution design sessions with finance and project stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration documents, test scripts, and training manuals.<br/><br/>- Support technical teams with integrations, customizations, and automation related to finance and project accounting.<br/><br/>- Participate in data migration activities such as chart of accounts mapping, financial dimensions, project master data, and validation.<br/><br/>- Conduct system testing, financial period close testing, UAT support, and assist with cutover activities.<br/><br/>- Provide post go live support for financial and project accounting operations.<br/><br/>- Ensure solutions follow Velosio best practices and Microsoft standards.<br/><br/>- Support pre sales with solution demos, scoping, effort estimation, and proposal preparation.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills:</b><br/><br/>- 5 to 6 years of hands on experience as a Functional Consultant in D365 Finance and Operations (Finance and PMA).<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of financial processes including GL, AP, AR, FA, budgeting, financial reporting, and project accounting.<br/><br/>- Experience configuring project accounting features such as project contracts, Projects, Journals, Timesheets, WBS, cost control, forecasts, revenue recognition, and invoicing.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of financial dimensions, account structures, posting profiles, and project categories.<br/><br/>- Experience preparing FDDs, BRDs, test cases, and training documentation.<br/><br/>- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and manage client expectations effectively.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to handle multiple assignments in a dynamic and agile environment.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Certifications:</b><br/><br/>- Microsoft certifications in D365 Finance or Project Management and BE/BTech/MCA/MBA/MTech/MCOM.</p><p></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
