Vendor Associate

Responsibilities:

• Support the sourcing strategy (Direct/ Indirect Supply, Priority brands and Selection) for one or more of the key segments of the Product Category

• Increase Selection of Products for customers visiting websites operated by Our Online Website

• Support the Vendor Manager to help add leading brands and in establishment of vendor agreements. (SLA).

• Support the execution of technical integration with suppliers, ensure that Suppliers have a clear understanding of our Platform to upload stock and other price factors.

• Assist the In-stock Management along with Vendor Manager to help Products Team.

• Assist vendors to set-up promotions and merchandising activities Coordinate with Products team, Site management team heads, Vendors and other departments as required.

• Participate in day-to-day back office operational aspects of the category, including gathering and addressing customer feedback & business improvement initiatives

• Be an ambassador of Our Online Website for the eCommerce category, developing deep knowledge of supply / demand trends and success drivers

• Responsible to assist Vendor manager to bring in Shipping methods and signing up contracts between organization and these vendors. Will ensure lowest cost in shipping.

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate preferably with commerce background or any discipline of similar capacity.

• Work experience of 2+ years to 5 Yrs.

• Strong ability to negotiate with Vendors / Shipping Companies

• Candidate must be fluent in English and Malayalam.

• Excellent communication and proven analytical skills, including advanced experience of Excel including Macros, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Knowledge in preparing MIS Reports pertaining to Vendor Management.

• Should have a very positive attitude towards instant challenges.

• Should be able to address quick need for activities to be performed on demand by Vendor Manager or Management.

• Willingness to travel around in South India

• Ability to think strategically and tactically
