Job Purpose:
This position in Vendor Development is accountable for the development of Al Forgings & Machined components for EV New products, adhering to Cost, Quality and timeline targets.
Position Overview:
Position Name: Specialist / Senior Specialist - Vendor Development (Al Forging)
Location: Chennai - RE HQ
Reporting to: Senior Technologist
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical / Automobile / Production
Required Skill:
- 7 to 12 Years Experience in handling Core Aluminium forging parts.
- Strong Techno-Commercial knowledge in Al Forgings & Machined components
- Strong expertise in Aluminum Forging process prove out and Forging Die Design knowledge
- Collaborate with CFT/Suppliers to understand the product requirements and specifications
- Early involvement with Product and Process Development team for optimized design, process and cost
- To identify competitive and potential suppliers
