Purpose of Role:Weir Marine Engineering is currently looking for an Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Test Agent for the IV&V team supporting the River Class Destroyer project. This permanent full-time position is based in Dartmouth (NS) at the Bluenose Building with teleworking possibilities. Weir operates and manages the Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE), a Department of National Defence (DND) facility located in Montreal with detachments in Halifax, Victoria and Ottawa/Gatineau. Our team of experts support the Royal Canadian Navy and DND with test and evaluation services in a wide variety of technical areas.
