Job Description
The Vessel Accountant provides support to the Chief Accountant and the Accounting Officer with all documentations required pertaining to the allotment of the seafarers and any other accounting matters as directed by the Chief Accountant and this includes but is not limited to entry of the vessel invoices in the database and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Allotment slip of the seafarers.
- Verify the correctness of the allotments received and processed. Prepare certificates upon the request of the seafarers as follows:
- SSS Certificate of Contribution and other certificate/forms for availing of SSS benefits
