At The Exotics Vet Clinics , we are introducing a structured career entry pathway  for veterinarians who wish to explore, train, and progressively specialize in exotic species medicine.

This program is designed to help veterinarians experience the field first , and then decide whether to pursue formal training and long-term roles with us.

Program Structure

Stage 1: Clinical Observership (Exploratory)

A short-term, observational exposure to real-world exotic animal practice.

Focus areas include:

• Clinical workflow in avian & exotic medicine

• Diagnostics, imaging, anesthesia, and surgical planning

• Case discussions and treatment decision-making

• Understanding the demands and responsibilities of the specialty

This stage is purely observational  and intended to support informed career decision-making.

Stage 2: Structured Internship

Candidates who demonstrate aptitude, professionalism, and sustained interest may be invited into a supervised internship program , offering progressive clinical exposure under senior guidance.

Stage 3: Residency / Long-Term Clinical Role

Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for advanced training pathways, residency positions, or full-time clinical roles , based on performance and mutual alignment.
