Veterinary Assistant-Central Prep

About This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. This position works in Central Preparation and is primarily responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments as well as assembly of surgical packs for use throughout the hospital. Other responsibilities may include upkeep of surgical supply inventory and distribution of sterilized items to hospital personnel. Working hours for this position will include Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm with a rotating on-call schedule to include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
