Veterinary Extern - General Practice

Job Description Ohana Veterinary Care is a small animal practice that has three full-time doctors and one relief doctor. We have a cohesive, encouraging, and family-like environment that allows all employees to thrive in providing the best quality of care to our patients. Our main focus is to educate the client to be more involved in their pet's journey which allows them to make the best medical decisions for their pets. Balance is important to us and our doctors get 90-minute lunch breaks and a few 30-minute blocks during their day. Students will work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creation of treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing/assisting or performing surgical procedures, and medical management of patients.
