Veterinary Extern - General Practice

An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. Although every NVA hospital is unique, we all have some things in common: an environment that is supportive, committed to excellent medicine, and provides exceptional service to animals and the people who love them. At Cassells Animal Hospital, we are a small animal practice that fosters a supportive and enjoyable work environment. You will have the opportunity to flex a variety of skill sets outside of annual visits and routine surgeries as there is no emergency clinic close by. Our team is fun‑loving (we enjoy a good “dad joke”) and work well together in stressful situations to provide the best medicine.
