Our 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) service is supported by experienced veterinarians and nurses, providing advanced medical, surgical, and rehabilitative care to patients.
About the Role
Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital is seeking Veterinary Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing multidisciplinary team across several clinical departments, including Anaesthesia, Avian & Exotics, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, and Wards.
You will work closely with specialist clinicians, veterinarians, and veterinary nurses to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced referral and emergency environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and eager to build a career in a leading veterinary hospital in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the safe handling and comfort of patients, including exotic animals (birds, reptiles, and small mammals)
- Feeding, cleaning, and providing general husbandry care for hospitalized patients
- Preparing and maintaining cages, brooders, and enclosures
- Monitoring patients and promptly reporting any changes to the veterinary nursing team
- Supporting veterinarians and nurses during admissions, discharges, diagnostics, and treatments
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, equipment, and hospital facilities
- Assisting with laundry, food preparation, and general hospital upkeep
- Participating in daily patient care rounds
- Providing compassionate, attentive care to all patients
- Promoting teamwork, empathy, and a respectful working culture
Requirements
- No prior experience required (training provided)
- Previous experience with animal handling or volunteering at shelters is an advantage
- Passionate about animal care with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating basis (time off in lieu provided)
- Singapore Citizens only
Work Schedule
- Day and night shifts available
- Weekends and public holidays on rotation
