The Veterinary Technician will provide essential support in the clinical management of various animal research subjects, contributing significantly to the clinical mission of Research Animal Resources. This hybrid role focuses primarily on small animals (~80%) and to a lesser extent on large animals (~20%). The position offers a modified work schedule, where Fridays through Mondays are considered the primary working days, following an initial training period from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
+ Independently triage, manage, and maintain records of clinical concerns for small animals such as mice and rats.
+ Manage and document clinical cases for other small animal species under veterinary supervision.
