Who We Are: STEM Coding Lab is a nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, dedicated to closing the digital divide by bringing high-quality computer science education to K–8 students in under-resourced communities. Through in-school, after-school, and summer programs, STEM Coding Lab empowers children to become creators of technology, not just consumers. By partnering with local school districts, community organizations, and the region’s tech sector, the organization provides in person experiential coding, robotics, and digital literacy instruction that sparks curiosity and opens pathways to future opportunity. Today, STEM Coding Lab serves thousands of students across Allegheny County, ensuring that every child, regardless of zip code, has the chance to build critical skills for success in the modern world.
