Vice President of Metallurgy

Aurex Group is conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of our client, a leading copper producer, for the role of
Vice President of Metallurgy.

This is a senior executive leadership position with full strategic, technical and operational responsibility for all metallurgical functions across the organization, including heap leach operations, sulphuric acid leaching, SX/EW processing, copper cathode production, metallurgical laboratories, testwork programs and process optimization. The role will lead near-term plant expansion projects, drive continuous improvement in recovery and cost performance, and provide critical metallurgical leadership for greenfield/brownfield growth opportunities and potential acquisitions.
