Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Risk to lead the enterprise-wide risk, compliance, and regulatory functions of our credit union. This senior executive will function with the responsibilities and authority of a Chief Risk Officer , ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and organizational protection.
A Juris Doctor (JD) is required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program across credit, operational, cybersecurity, legal, and strategic risk.
Oversee compliance with NCUA, CFPB, BSA/AML, OFAC, Fair Lending, UDAAP, and other financial regulations.
Provide legal and regulatory guidance on governance, contract risk, examinations, and high-risk matters.
Lead risk reporting for the CEO, Board, and Risk Committee, including dashboards and assessments.
