About the Opportunity

We are hiring for a senior leadership role with a reputed real estate developer in Pune. The position of Vice President – Projects is responsible for driving the end-to-end planning, construction, execution, and timely delivery of residential and commercial projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership to ensure projects are completed within timelines, budgets, and defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Strategy


  • Prepare and manage project schedules aligned with key milestones.


  • Coordinate with Architectural, RCC, and MEP consultants for final drawings and BOQs.


  • Ensure accurate cost estimation and resource planning.


  • Participate in contractor evaluation and selection.


  • Implement project tracking systems such as MS Project / Primavera / ERP.


Site Execution & Monitoring


  • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure timely progress.


  • Ensure adherence to GFC drawings, specifications, and approved standards.


  • Identify and resolve risks, delays, and site issues proactively.


  • Review daily/weekly site reports and highlight critical concerns.


  • Optimize manpower and material deployment.


  • Ensure use of appropriate construction technologies and communication methods.


Quality Assurance & Compliance


  • Establish and maintain quality control systems and inspection processes.


  • Ensure compliance with safety norms and statutory guidelines.


  • Conduct periodic audits, snag inspections, and coordinate third-party inspections.


  • Support in obtaining necessary statutory and safety approvals.


  • Drive continuous improvement in construction quality and sustainability.


Vendor & Contract Management


  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance against agreed SLAs.


  • Verify contractor bills and ensure compliance with contractual terms.


  • Track vendor productivity, safety performance, and quality adherence.


  • Manage contract variations, escalations, and dispute resolutions.


Team Leadership & Coordination


  • Lead and mentor project engineers, site managers, and supervisors.


  • Conduct review meetings with site teams and consultants.


  • Coordinate with design, procurement, finance, and liaison departments.


  • Enhance team capability through continuous on-site training and technical mentoring.


  • Ensure alignment of site execution with organizational goals.


Reporting & Governance


  • Submit periodic progress reports to management.


  • Maintain MIS, project dashboards, and documentation.


  • Implement process improvements for operational efficiency.


  • Standardize construction templates and reporting formats across projects.


Candidate Profile


  • Experience: 18–25 years in real estate/construction project execution.


  • Qualification: BE Civil (mandatory); M.Tech/PG qualification preferred.


  • Background: Experience in residential & commercial high-rise projects is essential.


  • Proven expertise in project planning, execution, vendor management, and team leadership.


  • Strong familiarity with project tracking tools (MS Project / Primavera / ERP).


  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making ability.


Compensation


  • Competitive and aligned with industry standards.


  • Suitable candidates can expect ₹45–60 LPA (higher for exceptional profiles).
