Vice President Solutions

Location: Delhi/NCR, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end solution design across Underwriting, Claims, Policy Admin, Finance Ops, CAT Modeling, Reinsurance, and Data & Analytics.
• Work with common industry SaaS platforms (PAS systems, CRM etc.). Build solutions based on modern, modular, cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven patterns, and API-first integration.
• Embed AI/ML, GenAI, agentic automation, decision intelligence, and workflow orchestration into solution blueprints.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, future-ready, and aligned with client business outcomes.

2. Client Engagement & Consultative Leadership

• Engage with CXOs, Business Development and Client Partner teams, business heads, and technology leaders to understand strategic priorities, pain points, and operational challenges.
• Run discovery workshops, current-state assessments, and future-state blueprinting exercises and translate client needs into clear solution narratives, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.

3. Proposal & RFP Ownership

• Lead solutioning for RFPs, proactive proposals, and large transformation deals.
• Own solution narratives, architecture diagrams, staffing models, risk registers, assumptions, and SLAs/OLAs.
• Partner with delivery, architecture, and practice teams to create robust, feasible, and cost-optimized proposals.

Present and defend the solution to client leadership

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Technology teams (Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, Data)
• Domains (Delivery) (Lifecycle & Operations, Claims, Data & Analytics and Technology and Digital)
• AI and Digital Office
• Align all stakeholders on a unified client solution approach.
• Identify and embed Xceedance’s Accelerators in the solution.

5. Governance, Pricing & Assurance

• Build detailed effort estimation, cost models, and FTE/scaled team structures.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure the proposed solution aligns with industry best practices, client security standards, and SLAs.
• Support the transition from solutioning to delivery during program kickoff.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Insurance & Domain Knowledge

• 15–18 years of experience in P&C / Specialty / Reinsurance.
• Strong domain understanding in Underwriting, Claims, Finance Ops, Exposure Management, Bordereaux, Policy Admin, Premium Accounting, CAT Modeling, or Broker Operations
• Should have relevant experience in building solutions and frameworks from scratch in the Insurance P&C space – either on the outsourcing provider side or on the carrier/insurer side
• Should have worked with large firms – on the outsourcing side with firms like Accenture, Cap Gemini, EY, Genpact, HCL etc. or on the insurer side with large US or UK insurers/syndicates/brokers

Technology & Architecture

• Good understanding of Agentic AI solutions preferably in the insurance industry and a track record of implementing these solutions
• Working knowledge of:
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and common software architecture patterns
• Data engineering & analytics (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse)
• GenAI, LLMOps, agentic workflows, RPA, and IDP

Consulting & Solutioning

• Strong experience in solutioning large transformation programs (USD 5M+ deals preferred).
• Ability to create structured solution narratives, value propositions, and business cases.
• Hands-on experience with process consulting, journey mapping, TOM design, and operating model definition.
• Must possess strong pricing acumen – should have worked on various pricing models – FTE based, outcome based, transaction based with complex financial engineering

Communication & Leadership

• Executive presence with the ability to interface with senior client stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, especially for RFPs and presentations.
