Video Creator (Social & Youtube)

About the Role:  We’re looking for a  Video Creator  who can own the end-to-end creation of high-quality video content—from shoot to final edit. This role is ideal for someone who understands how different platforms behave, how attention works, and how to package information visually for social media.

You’ll work closely with the  YouTube Growth Manager, content team, and growth teams  to create videos that educate, engage, and convert—across long-form and short-form formats.

Role & Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing

• Shoot and edit  long-form videos  for YouTube and  short-form content  for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.

• Own the  end-to-end post-production process : cuts, pacing, sound design, color correction, transitions, and final exports.

• Create platform-optimized edits tailored to audience behavior and retention patterns.

Motion Graphics & Visual Packaging

• Design and implement  motion graphics , lower-thirds, transitions, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.

• Collaborate with content and growth teams to create visually engaging formats for educational and promotional videos.

• Support  thumbnail ideation and creation  in collaboration with design or independently where required.

Platform-Specific Optimization

• Apply a strong understanding of  platform mechanics —hooks, pacing, storytelling, and visual language for YouTube vs short-form platforms.

• Optimize videos for  watch time, retention, and engagement , not just aesthetics.

Production Coordination

• Work with  external agencies and freelancers  when required—briefing, reviewing, and ensuring quality output.

• Support shoot planning, equipment setup, and on-ground production as needed.

On-Camera & Hosting (Preferred)

• Comfortably appear on camera or host videos when required.

• Independently shoot simple formats without heavy production dependencies.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• 2–3 years of experience  in video shooting and editing for social media or digital platforms.

• Strong hands-on expertise in editing  both long-form (YouTube)  and  short-form (Reels/Shorts)  videos.

• Excellent  motion graphics skills  and visual storytelling ability.

• Experience creating videos for  marketing or promotional purposes .

• Clear understanding of hooks, pacing, transitions, and platform-native storytelling.

Good to Have

• Formal education or training in video production, media, or design.

• Experience managing external production partners or freelancers.

• Comfort in front of the camera and basic video hosting ability.

• Prior experience in  fintech, equity markets, or crypto  (preferred, not mandatory).

Tools & Skills

• Proficiency in tools like  Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve , or equivalent.

• Basic understanding of thumbnails, visual branding, and content packaging.

• Ability to work fast without compromising quality.
