We are seeking a creative and performance-oriented Video Editor & Videographer with experience in D2C and e-commerce brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands how compelling video content drives engagement, conversions, and sales across digital platforms. The candidate should be hands-on with shooting, editing, and leveraging AI-powered tools, with a strong grasp of Meta ad creatives, audience behavior, and market trends.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media, websites, and paid ad campaigns.
  • Create short-form, performance-driven videos for Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook ads).
  • Leverage AI-based video tools for avatars, voiceovers, captions, background removal, creative automation, and enhancements.
  • Ideate content hooks, scripts, and creative angles aligned with current trends and target audience insights.
  • Optimize video edits for conversions, retention, and scroll-stopping performance.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and growth teams to deliver effective ad creatives.
  • Analyze creative performance metrics and iterate on content based on insights.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, style, and visual identity across all video assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing and videography for D2C or e-commerce brands.
  • Experience working in a freelance, agency, or in-house setup.
  • Hands-on experience with video shoots using professional cameras and smartphone setups.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • Strong familiarity with AI-powered video and generative tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, HeyGen, Midjourney, ChatGPT).
  • Solid understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and audio fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Meta ad creatives, audience psychology, and digital content trends.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CTR, funnels, and creative testing.
  • Experience creating UGC-style and influencer-led content.
  • Ability to adapt and iterate content quickly based on performance feedback and campaign results.
