About the Role

As a Video Prompt Engineer / Visual AI Annotator, you will play a critical role in training and evaluating advanced generative video models. This role involves analyzing a source video, comparing it with a final output video, and crafting precise, high-quality prompts based on provided instructions. Your work will directly impact the quality, controllability, and realism of AI-generated visual content.

You will apply strong visual reasoning, creative judgment, and technical understanding of video generation to describe transformations involving VFX, object manipulation, and stylization in a clear, structured, and model-friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source videos and corresponding final videos to understand visual transformations and effects
• Write detailed, accurate prompts based on given instructions to replicate or improve video outputs
• Annotate and label video prompts for AI training and evaluation
• Identify and describe changes related to object movement, addition/removal, deformation, and interactions
• Capture visual effects such as lighting changes, particle effects, transitions, and compositing
• Accurately describe stylistic elements including animation styles, cinematic looks, color grading, and artistic filters
• Ensure prompts are clear, unambiguous, and aligned with expected visual outcomes
• Maintain neutrality, consistency, and high annotation quality across projects

Skills & Experience Required

• Background in video editing, animation, VFX, multimedia design, or related fields preferred
• Strong visual analysis and attention to detail
• Ability to translate visual changes into structured, descriptive prompts

Key Skills (Must-Have):

• VFX – understanding of visual effects, compositing, lighting, and transitions
• Object Manipulation – describing object movement, transformations, additions/removals, and interactions
• Stylization – identifying and articulating artistic styles, cinematic looks, and visual aesthetics

NOTE: This is a flexible freelancing role. Compensation varies by project and typically goes up to ₹1500 per task.
