Videographer/Videoeditor

Our client is an international EdTech platform producing high-quality online courses with industry experts. We are seeking freelance Videographers and Video Editors to support upcoming productions in Germany.

Our current confirmed project is a Digital Illustration course in Berlin.

Videographer Responsibilities

• Set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment
• Conduct on-site filming (approx. one full day per instructor)
• Ensure professional framing, composition, and sound quality
• Provide basic on-set direction to the instructor
• Deliver raw footage promptly to the internal post-production team
• Collaborate smoothly with an international remote team

Video Editor Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into structured, high-quality educational content
• Apply titles, graphics, transitions, and basic motion elements
• Perform audio cleanup and basic color correction
• Prepare final files according to platform specifications
• Communicate effectively with the production team for revisions

Requirements For Videographers

• Based in Berlin or nearby (on-site presence required)
• Proven experience with studio, interview-style, or educational video production
• Strong technical skills in camera operation, lighting, and audio
• Ability to work independently and ensure high production quality
• Clear and reliable communication
• German language proficiency required

For Video Editors

• Demonstrated experience in video editing for interviews, courses, or similar formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and storytelling
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
• German language skills are an advantage
