The Opportunity

Located less than 5 minutes from Richmond, Tasmania, this hands-on role will be actively involved in the development of the vineyard and then through to production. Supported by an experienced operational team, the incumbent will take ownership of the vineyard to ensure the highest quality fruit is produced.

The position requires a diverse range of skills across the vineyard, ranging from pruning and training vines, operating machinery, irrigation and overseeing the workforce tending to the vines. Duties include:

• Supervising and developing staff
• Canopy management and general vine care
• Weed management including spot spraying
• Maintenance and operation of advanced irrigation systems
• Machinery Operation.
• Business improvement

About You

The successful candidate will be a ‘hands on’, practical Supervisor. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to take ownership and demonstrate a commitment to producing a premium wine grape whilst ensuring environmental and health and safety standards are maintained.
