Utilities Coordinator We are hiring a full-time remote Utilities Coordinator to manage utility setup, transfers, billing issues, and documentation across a large portfolio. This role requires extreme organization, clear written communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently without micro-management. Communication is handled in writing (email, portals, tickets) with phone calls being used when required to resolve issues, confirm status, or move stalled requests forward. Documentation and details are critically important to succeed in this position. Responsibilities Coordinate utility start, stop, and transfer requests (electric, gas, water, sewer, trash, etc.) Identify correct utility providers when unknown and document findings Resolve billing issues, holds, shutoffs, restorations, and account discrepancies Maintain accurate utility tracking across multiple properties Communicate clearly in written English with utility providers and clients Place and document phone calls when necessary to resolve issues Track utility status across portfolios at different stages of the process Work within Zendesk and Microsoft Excel to document actions and outcomes Coordinate with internal team members to complete tasks efficiently Required Skills & Traits Highly organized with strong task tracking and follow-through Must be highly experienced with using, working with, and developing complicated spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel Excellent written and conversational English (clear, professional, precise) Strong problem-solving and research skills; resourceful when information is missing Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes Comfortable learning and navigating new utility portals and web-based platforms Strong attention to detail and documentation Able to manage multiple properties and timelines simultaneously Reliable internet connection Willing to invest in a proper work setup (dual monitors, reliable computer, etc.) Team-oriented, dependable, and self-directed Position Details 100% remote Full-time: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm EST $6.50 USD per hour To Apply Send a CV and short video introduction in English to [email protected] telling us: Who you are Your professional interests and motivation Why you are a strong fit for this role Your prior virtual work experience Your short- and long-term goals Your experience handling complex or multi-step tasks Your written communication skill level Why documentation and accuracy matter in operational work Special Note: Only applicants who submit a CV and video to [email protected] will be considered for this position
