Virtual Medical Referral coordinator

Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role supporting the
Referral Department
for a U.S.-based healthcare clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing medical referrals, coordinating with providers, insurance companies, and patients, and ensuring timely and accurate referral completion.

Daily responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, processing referral requests, verifying insurance requirements, obtaining prior authorizations when applicable, and maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). You will communicate with both
English- and Spanish-speaking patients
as well as clinical offices.

This position is 100% remote, working from home, while supporting a clinic located in the United States.
