Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in voice and communication disorders within a K-12 educational setting. This telespeech position supports a caseload primarily at the high school level, serving students with diverse communication needs.
Location: Millbrook, Alabama
Assignment Duration: Current School Year through May 22, 2026
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 50 students focusing on voice and communication needs
Position Type: Voice and Communication (VOCO) Teletherapy Only
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering remote speech-language therapy services focused on voice and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to monitor progress and adjust therapy as necessary
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school requirements and professional standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure required; Assistants (SLPA) will not be considered
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing teletherapy services in a school setting highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of best practices in voice and communication therapy for pediatric populations
