Job Description
Responsibilities
Build and maintain the simulation platform used to deliver Colare’s engineering assessments
Architect and operate production systems on AWS (compute, S3 artifact storage, networking, IAM)
Implement dynamic runtime rendering of assessment UIs from S3-hosted task bundles
Build infrastructure for running and streaming remote CAD tools (KiCad and Onshape)
via (1) Docker (2) VNC
Debug and operationalize session management systems for remote CAD tool provisioning (Docker, VNC, Guacamole)
Build APIs consumed by the AI pipeline for training and scoring
Ensure isolation, reliability, and reproducibility of simulation environments
Collaborate with ME/EE engineers to onboard new tools and assessment types
Requirements
Strong experience with React, Next-js, and TypeScript-
Strong backend experience with Node-js (Express) and Prisma ORM-
Production experience with PostgreSQL-
