Virtualization System Administrator (Senior Systems Analyst)

Position Summary

BCIT’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Department is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Senior Systems Analyst to join our Infrastructure & Networks team. Working with a wide variety of individuals and teams within and outside the department, you will be part of a team responsible for the research, design, implementation and operation of BCIT’s virtualized environments as it relates to the IT Academic, Administrative and Research agendas of BCIT.

This position requires a professional with at least 6 years of intermediate experience in the IT industry. Candidates must have a strong background in Microsoft Hyper-V system administration for a clustered environment, relevant operational and administration tools for a large compute environment of 50+ hosts and 1,500 server, device and container objects in a multi-campus virtual environment.
