Job Description
The Ministry of Education (SEP) and Technological Institutes in Mexico have requested the support of Peace Corps Response Volunteers (PCRVs) to serve as STEM Professors and Student Mentors. Mexico has a growing demand for skilled professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, particularly in industries such as IT, aerospace, and manufacturing automation. Additionally, many Mexican universities are actively seeking to increase the number of courses and degree programs offered in English to better prepare their students for a globalized job market.
The PCRV will be expected to teach and advise students; facilitate a learning environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage and work in a collaborative manner with those of other cultures or backgrounds; and identify opportunities to build capacity and establish national and international partnerships.
