**Position Description:**
Under general supervision performs skilled mechanical or analytical duties on various projects. Performs security work in the protection of property and facilities against theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other destructive activities.

+ Opens/closes the Museum Building using security systems, securing specified areas, and checking facilities. Opens/closes galleries including lighting, exhibit cases and cabinets, interactive displays, and audio/visual equipment.
+ Responsible for operating all alarm, CCTV, and access control systems and for monitoring these systems.
+ Responsible for acting upon discovered safety hazards and incidents of injury, coordinating a response, and reporting to the appropriate Museum staff.
