Everyone worries about the dooms-day in climate change which is expected to occur in the 2050s. However, there's one doom's day which is the reality for millions of people around the world today. Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature children death occur due to air pollution in developing countries. Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.

Job Overview

Praan’s team solves nuanced technical problems using design, cutting edge engineering, and manufacturing. However, this nuance serves as a high barrier for usability if the software, brochures, manuals, and other marketing materials aren’t able to convey the concepts simply and visually. Further, with high emphasis on design and space, it’s imperative that Praan’s technology along with its impact, uniqueness, and reliability is conveyed effectively to any audience. As a Visual Communication Designer, you will primarily focus on creating compelling visual narratives across marketing, product and technical content, while also contributing to UI/UX design for our digital products.

Job Description

• Design high-quality 2D and 3D visuals, including interior renders and product contextual renders, for technical and non-technical brochures, social media, presentations, and marketing materials
• Create convincing visual compositions that seamlessly blend products into real-world environments, ensuring accurate scale, lighting, materials, and spatial context
• Translate complex hardware and technology concepts into clear, visually compelling representations
• Create visual assets for websites, mobile apps, and digital interfaces, supporting UI/UX design where required
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure visual clarity across software interfaces and digital touchpoints
• Develop illustrations, renders, animations, and motion graphics for marketing campaigns, social media, and promotional content
• Integrate visual elements and animations into existing and new brand materials to maintain a cohesive visual language
• Craft strong visual stories that communicate Praan’s mission, technology, and impact effectively
• Work closely with marketing, product and sales teams to align visuals with business and brand goals
• Ensure consistency across all visual communications by following brand guidelines and design standards
• Manage multiple design projects in parallel while meeting quality standards and deadlines
• Create and maintain basic design documentation such as style references, visual systems, and project briefs
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of visual quality, accuracy, and polish before release

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor degree/diploma in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or a related field
• Strong experience in visual design, illustration, composition, animation and rendering
• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, KeyShot, Figma, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro, or similar
• Ability to create interior renders and product-in-environment visuals that feel realistic, intentional and context-aware
• Strong sense of lighting, materials and spatial realism in product visualization
• Good understanding of typography, color, layout, print, and digital design
• Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to fast-moving projects
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback

Good to Have

• Experience working with a deep-tech or hardware startup
• Experience with UI/UX workflows or collaboration with product teams
• Videography or video production experience
• Experience working within a design team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
