Position Details

  • Location: Imperial Oil Strathcona – Edmonton, AB (Local candidates preferred; LOA options may be available for out‑of‑town candidates)
  • Duration: April 1 – May 30
  • Shift: Monday–Saturday, 12‑hour shifts (both day and night shifts required)
  • Employment Type: Subcontractors and employees welcome
  • Rate:
    • Non‑union employees: $60–$70/hr
    • Subcontractors: $70–$80/hr

Certification Requirements

  • Visual Inspectors: API 510, ISI
  • Piping QA/QC Inspectors: API 510, API 570, CWB Level 2

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical input to clients as required on welding and metallurgical matters
