Job Description
Role - Vital QIP, DNS/DHCP Support Engineer
Years of Experience - 8 to 12 years
Location - New Delhi
Candidate should have deep knowledge of Vital QIP tool (Vital QIP20, Vital QIP8.0, Vital QIP AMS21, Vital QIP AMS2.1.
Excellent in AMS(Appliance Management Server), ESM(Enterprise server management) and DNS and DHCP environment.
Troubleshooting skills for DNS and DHCP Environment in quick time (Nokia QIP , S_QIP, Nokia Raid , AMM 5000, ESM5000)
Good Knowledge of Anycast and subnetting.
Knowledge of Routing OSPF/BGP, Switching.
Good Knowledge of tools, Tacacs/Radius/HPOV NNMi
Knowledge of network sniffer for capturing logs (Wireshark/ Ethereal/ Solar-wind or any other equivalent)
Excellent Communication skill

ITIL certification
Responsibility
Network support from Offshore, 24 X7 support shift support
Provide support on day-to-day DNS incidents and issues.
Monitor the DNS Infrastructure and work with different tools team for addition/deletion of the devices.
Support day to day changes and configurations in QIP infrastructure.
Manage and maintain the On-site spares availability for DNS infrastructure.
Coordinates with Network Delivery team for ongoing projects and provides support from Operations.
Maintain the DNS/DHCP CMDB up to date.
Support day to day cable patching requests and update the TRAX.
Vendor Coordination with NCC group in the event of any faults, software or hardware issues
Ensure all related process documents are up to date.
