Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VMC & CNC Operator to join our team. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMC

and CNC machines to produce high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation:

o Set up and operate VMC and CNC machines according to engineering

drawings and specifications.

o Load and unload workpieces and monitor the machining process to

ensure quality output.

2. Programming and Setup:

o Interpret and understand CNC programs, blueprints, and technical

drawings.

o Adjust and modify programs as required for optimal performance.

o Perform machine setup, including tool selection and fixture alignment.

3. Quality Control:

o Conduct regular inspections of parts using measuring tools (calipers,

micrometres, gauges).

o Ensure that finished components meet required tolerances and quality

standards.

4. Maintenance:

o Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.

o Identify and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.

5. Documentation:

o Maintain accurate records of production, machine settings, and

maintenance activities.

o Document non-conformities and suggest corrective actions.

6. Safety and Compliance:

o Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe

working environment.

o Follow all industry regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a VMC or CNC Operator.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Proficiency in CNC programming and G-code understanding.

Familiarity with measuring tools and precision instruments.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas control systems.

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
