Qualifications and Skills

• CNC Programming (Mandatory skill) is essential for creating and implementing efficient machining programs to achieve desired specifications.
• Proficiency with Siemens Sinumerik (Mandatory skill) and FANUC Controls (Mandatory skill) to effectively set up and operate CNC machines.
• G-code/M-code knowledge is required to accurately communicate machine instructions and perform precision machining tasks.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) tools for creating detailed digital machining plans and specifications.
• Multi-Axis Machining skill set is necessary for handling complex operations with high precision on various projects.
• Tool Path Optimization abilities to enhance machining processes, reduce cycle time, and improve overall efficiency.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD Software to interpret design plans and ensure accurate implementation during machining.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality results and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations required.
• Program CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, and setting tool registers.
• Monitor the machine operation and adjust settings to maintain conformance to specifications.
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and completeness.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
