VMC Setter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMC Setter to set up and prepare our Vertical Machining Centers for production runs in our Nashik facility. The VMC Setter will be responsible for installing tooling, loading programs, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring the machine is ready for efficient and accurate operation. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CNC machine setup.Responsibilities:Machine Setup: Set up VMC machines according to job specifications, including installing and aligning tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.Tooling Installation: Install and adjust cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and functionality.Program Loading: Load and verify CNC programs into the VMC machine controller.Machine Parameter Adjustment: Adjust machine parameters such as speeds, feeds, and coolant flow to optimize machining operations.First-Off Inspection: Produce and inspect first-off parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve setup-related issues and machine malfunctions.Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on VMC machines to ensure proper functioning.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of setups, tooling used, and any adjustments made.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while setting up and operating VMC machines.Collaboration: Work closely with VMC operators, programmers, and other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
